Now Hiring: Barista (Part-Time)

We're looking for people who love to learn, have a great attitude, and a track record of reliability and teamwork. Candidates must be willing to adapt to a changing environment and help contribute to the business’s development in its very first year. 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • 18 years of age 
  • Driver’s License

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a professional presence at all times, acting with integrity, honesty and knowledge to promote Cellar Door. 
  • Deliver amazingly friendly service to our customers! This is the heart of Cellar Door. Engage customers in casual conversation, actively listen, get to know them as people, discover their preferences, and meet even the most complex requests in a friendly manner.
  • Follow detailed verbal and written instructions and request clarification when needed
  • Anticipate needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues. Take initiative to always stay a step ahead, and communicate information to management to help them do the same.
  • Memorize and follow company recipes, techniques, and food safety standards to deliver consistently high-quality products. Strong commitment to quality is essential. 
  • Perform daily maintenance tasks to keep a clean and welcoming facility. 
  • Perform tasks assigned in support of special promotions, retail sales, private events, facility cleanliness, and general coffee shop operations. 
  • Physical ability lift, unpack, and stock shelves as shipments are received, set-up and tear-down folding tables and chairs, and complete cleaning responsibilities.
  • Personal driving to local suppliers in Garrettsville/Hiram may be required as needed. 
  • Available to work flexible hours (10-25 per week) that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or certain holidays.
